Long-Time Goodwill Employee Retires

After an incredible 20 years of service and dedication to his work, long-time Goodwill West Texas employee Danny Cargill is retiring and embarking on a new chapter of life.

Throughout his time as an employee, Danny has worked at almost every Abilene location - most recently at the Abilene Donation Services Unit in our salvage operation. His co-workers say Danny is the absolute best at keeping the salvage courtyard clean, organized and safe.

Danny shared that his fondest memories at Goodwill involve co-workers who have become friends over the past two decades. He is looking forward to taking a celebratory retirement road trip with his wife, Peggy, to visit family members across the country this summer.

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for Danny's long-time contributions to our mission. His dedication, work ethic and friendship will be missed in the workplace!
